Pathologist Rustam Muratovich Muratov underwent advanced training on the topic “Neuropathology” at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel, as part of the scientific project “Development of a program of molecular cytogenetic research and creation of a biobank of tumors of the central nervous system”, from September 3 to September 30, 2022.

Purpose of the trainings: Training in modern methods of studying central nervous system tumors using immunohistochemical and molecular genetic studies, according to the new WHO classification of central nervous system tumors (5th edition).

Result of the trainings: Application of the acquired knowledge in practice in the field of glial tumors, immunohistochemistry, taking into account molecular genetic studies. Application of acquired skills in general pathology and histology, autopsy methods and material collection to create a biobank.

Collection of surgical material for pathohistological, immunohistochemical, molecular genetic studies and creation of a biobank with tumor samples.
