From May 29 to June 9, the head of the Pathology Department, Berik Barlybaevich Zhetpisbaev, specialist (biologist) Lyazzat Muratovna Kalieva and senior laboratory assistant histologist Lyazzat Yelyubaevna Mukalykova underwent an internship at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas, Lithuania, on the topic “Biobank of tumors of the central nervous system.”
A group of researchers from the project “Development of a program of molecular cytogenetic research and creation of a biobank of tumors of the central nervous system” visited the Siberian-Kazakh neurosurgical symposium, taking place on June 1-2, 2023.
Solodovnikov Makar Petrovich and Batyrkhanov Daultay Azamatovich took part in the First Congress of Neurosurgeons of the Republic of Tajikistan with international participation “Innovative technology in neurosurgery” with an oral report and publication of the thesis.
Bayturlin Zhanibek Ganievich and Batyrkhanov Daultay Azamatovich from May 5 to 15, 2023 were trained in all aspects of neuroimaging, including the brain, spine, head and neck in the department of neuroradiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia (USA).
Gaukhar Sultankhanovna Ibatova attended the XXII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Polenov Readings” with a report “Predictors of pharmacoresistant forms of epilepsy in glial tumors in children.”
